Here’s an 8-day Kenya safari itinerary covering Nairobi, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, with stops to nearby towns and attractions.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be met by our representative and transferred to their hotel in Nairobi. Depending on their arrival time, guests will enjoy a town tour of Nairobi, visiting attractions such as the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre, or the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which cares for orphaned elephants and rhinos.

If the guests arrives in the afternoon at the airport, there maybe limited time for a Nairobi tour to the said places, we can however opt for a dinner with authentic Kenyan meals.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli

After breakfast, we will depart Nairobi and head south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Guests will enjoy an afternoon game drive in Amboseli, which is famous for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Amboseli

We will spend a full day in Amboseli, with morning and afternoon game drives. Guests will have the opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife and birds, as well as visit a Maasai village and learn about their culture and traditions.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we will depart Amboseli and head to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, guests can take a boat ride on the lake, visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, or go on a nature walk in Hell’s Gate National Park.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru Day Trip – Back to Lake Naivasha

Guests will enjoy a full day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhinos. After a morning game drive and picnic lunch, we will return to Lake Naivasha for an evening at leisure.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara

After breakfast, we will depart Lake Naivasha and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, guests will enjoy their first game drive in the reserve, home to the “Big Five” and famous for the Great Migration.

Day 7: Masai Mara

We will spend a full day in the Masai Mara, with morning and afternoon game drives. Guests will have the opportunity to witness the Great Migration (seasonal), spot a variety of wildlife, and learn about the Maasai culture.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi (Airport)
After breakfast, we will depart the Masai Mara and head back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. Guests will have some time for last-minute shopping before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their onward flight.

This 8-day safari will provide guests with a great opportunity to explore some of Kenya’s most famous national parks and wildlife reserves, as well as experience the local culture and traditions.
